Hairlux Opens Its First Location

Hairlux began operations from its first location at Academy Ibadan. The success of the first location demonstrated that the business could grow beyond its starting point and provided the foundation for subsequent expansion. Hairlux Expands Beyond Its First Location Following the success of the original Academy operation, Hairlux expanded its presence into additional locations and continued developing a multi-location operating model. The experience reinforced the importance of building stronger systems, management structures and operational controls as a company grows. Hairlux Develops a Partner-Led Expansion Model Hairlux expanded its reach through a partnership with Hairmate covering locations including Oluyole, Akobo, Bodija, Challenge, Iseyin and Saki. The model created another path to growth by combining Hairlux's booking, brand and operating infrastructure with existing partner locations. Building Technology Into Operations As the businesses developed, technology became increasingly integrated into areas such as bookings, customer management, operations, reporting, inventory, recruitment and partner management. The objective has been to use technology to improve visibility, accountability and the ability to manage growing operations more effectively.
